We are into the holiday season, and if you like prizes like gift certificates and giveaways attached to your tree, this is for you.  And it is about to get ramped up for the Christmas season.

Community Health and Counseling Services Festival of Trees is underway. The actual 12 days for the raffles will begin this coming Sunday, so if you haven't purchased tickets, it is time. The value of each tree's attachments is at-minimum $200. 12 Days of Tree Raffles tickets are for sale now.

Tickets are $1 for a single ticket, $5 for 6 tickets, or 25 tickets for $20.

CHCS is a non-profit agency that supports therapeutic foster care programs. The 12-day Festival of Trees raffle raises money for that program.

Each tree has a minimum value of $200. Trees are decorated and have giveaways attached.  Numerous area businesses have contributed a variety of great attachments to every tree.

Buy your ticket and choose your tree.  Not an easy choice, each tree has unique ‘decorations’. All trees can be seen on Facebook.

Tickets may also be purchased at CHCS offices. 42 Cedar Street in Bangor.  And in Augusta. Westbrook, Machias, Ellsworth, Caribou, Dover-Foxcroft, Houlton and Skowhegan.
