Dr. Gary Greenberg was a photographer and filmmaker until he was 33 when he decided to move to London from Los Angeles where he invented a high-definition 3D microscope that he takes his pictures on, resulting in 18 U.S. patents under his name. When he put a grain of sand under his microscope he couldn't believe his eyes. And neither will you!

He now lives in Hawaii where, more than likely, this sand is from. Depending on the coastal area and climate sand can look completely different under the microscope.
