Cape Forchu Lighthouse is by far my favorite of all the places I visited during my trip to Yarmouth and Acadian Shores, Nova Scotia. The lighthouse is the "Beacon to Canada," according to Cape Forchu's official website. Samuel de Champlain named it Cap Forchu in 1604, when he landed in Yarmouth. Cap Forchu means "forked tongue of land."
