Many of you are from here. So, you're aware of the chaos that ensues at supermarkets all around New England in preparation for a major snowstorm. People head to grocery stores in mass to stock up on bread and milk. What they do with all these expirables after the storm is a mystery to me. Unless they have large families or animals they give the bread to, it would be difficult to consume the huge quantities of food being purchased before it spoils. (Hopefully, they are not giving the milk to their animals. Most pets are lactose intolerant.)

I mean... I like to be prepared, but I don't understand why people plan for Armageddon... unless they live in rural areas or are elderly/disabled. Most likely, stores will be open for business the day after the big storm.
