The Freeport Fall Festival, now in its 16th year, attracts thousands of people to Freeport for a day of art, music, and fun. Over 100 artists exhibit works ranging from photography oil, watercolor, mixed media, fine craft, and jewelry set to the tunes of live musical performances throughout the day.

New for 2014, we’re adding a delicious selection of Maine food producers to the Festival and Freeport Community Services will be on site hosting their annual Chowdah Challenge to raise funds for camp scholarships! Hosted on the L.L.Bean campus in Freeport, the two-day event is free and includes children’s art activities and music for the whole family. Plan to spend the day in Freeport, visit the artists, listen to music, and visit hundreds of great stores, outlets, and boutiques located within a couple of blocks from the Festival!

Based on the classic novel of the same name by French  novelist Victor Hugo, Les Misérables transports us to early 19th century France and shares the struggles and triumphs of Jean Valjean, a French peasant, and his quest for redemption. After serving nineteen years in jail for having stolen a loaf of bread for his starving sister’s child, Valjean decides to break his parole and start his life anew after a kindly bishop inspires him by a tremendous act of mercy.
Alas, he is relentlessly tracked down by a police inspector named Javert and, along the way, Valjean and a host of other compelling characters are swept into a revolutionary period where young idealists make their last stand at a street barricade. One of (if not THE) most celebrated musicals of all time, Les Misérables has been in production around the globe since 1980.

With his wife's disappearance having become the focus of an intense media circus, a man sees the spotlight turned on him when it's suspected that he may not be innocent.
