Watch Maine Eagle Snatch Osprey Chicks From Their Nest

The Maine Audubon is kind of a big deal here, but I didn't realize there were camera's set up to capture the wild life there. More specifically i'm referring to a camera set up to watch an Osprey nest belonging to "Steve and Rachel" and their baby chicks "big" and "little".

I can only imagine the shock to audience members when they sat down to view their favorite live stream of the baby birds on Explore.org, only to witness an Eagle swoop down and steal the babies from their nest.

I've never personally sat and watched the bird cam, and quite honestly didn't even know it existed until yesterday, but even I was a little sad when I watched the video.

It was definitely a reminder of just how brutal nature can be.
