It was announced last week that the Yarmounth, Maine company DeLorme, who has been publishing the oversized Maine Atlas since 1976; will be sold to Swiss GPS company Garmin. No word on the fate of the beloved Maine map book, but some Mainers have a problem with the possible end of the Maine Atlas era.
