Was That Johnny Depp’s Yacht In Portland Harbor The Other Day?

Some people in Portland got pretty excited the other day, when Amphitrite, a 156-foot-long luxury yacht, anchored in Portland Harbor. According to Portland Press Herald, the yacht was built for actor Johnny Depp back in 2001. But Depp sold the vessel in 2016 to author J.K. Rowling, who then eventually sold it to someone else. So sadly, the appearance of Amphitrite did not mean that there would be an appearance by Captain Jack Sparrow in the Old Port...at least not this weekend.
