The days are getting shorter in New England.  It's getting harder to get our daily dose of sunlight.  An estimated 500,000 Americans deal with the symptoms of Seasonal Affective Disorder. There are some things you can do now to curb the affects.

Do you get the winter blues? Do want to sleep a little longer? Do you lack energy during the winter. I think many of us feel the affects of less daylight. A new article in Psychology Today suggests several tips to beat those winter blues:

  2. Avoid the carbs. Get your B vitamins, protein and Omega-3
  3. Move... walk, dance, ski...whatever you can do to keep moving
