In the days leading up the 'Women's March on Maine' in Augusta the number of people who said they were coming grew and grew. Well, they all showed and then a few!  One of the organizers said there were 10,000 that showed for the event!

The weather cooperated and the sun even came out before the event was over. From my view point, there were tons of happy men, women and children. Even a few happy dogs were there.

There were similar events in a few Maine committees and most state capitals as well as Washington DC.

A big thank you to Capital Security for helping to keep the event safe. I did not see any major issues.

Before and after, Augusta was buzzing with people. I sure hope they took some time to look around, enjoy the capital city and all it had to offer!
