MAINE

6TH ANNUAL STATE STREET HOLIDAY STROLL

We haven't even thought about Thanksgiving yet (excluding the time we always spend each week to daydream about large meals in our future) and it's already holiday craft fair season. Venues along State Street will host an array of vendors selling crafts, food and unique gifts. Plus music, caroling and hot beverages.

DISC GOLF

Take a walk in the Limerick woods while getting some exercise and having fun with friends playing a hybrid of golf and Frisbee. Disc Golf at Woodland Valley offers courses for beginner, intermediate and advanced level of players. Each course has 18 "holes" or in this case baskets. all with pars and plenty of organic hazards in the form of trees.

When the lights go down, the music goes up and the fun begins. Try your hand at Rock–N–Glow bowling as you'll be knocking down pins while shaking a tail feather to the music. It's fun for all ages in a retro bowling alley setting. Don't like big balls? No problem because this alley is candlepin!

The 14th Annual S.N.O.B. (Somewhat North of Boston) Film Festival will run this weekend at the Red River Theatres in Concord. The festival features three days of Indie Film, live music, and craft beer throughout the city.

This weekend's 20th Annual New England Craft and Specialty Food Fair will be held at Rockingham Park in Salem. Over 250 of the regions finest craftsmen and craftswomen will display and sell their crafts

New England's "King of Comedy" returns to New Hampshire with three shows this weekend. On Friday, he'll be yukking it up at the Claremont Opera House and on Saturday he takes on two shows at the Capitol Center for the Arts in Concord.
