"Spike" has been working as a police dog for three years in Virginia. In that time period, he has been living and protecting a police officer. US Marine Jared Heine knows Spike well, he's all Jared has talked about since leaving him for the states after a tour in Afghanistan. The two were separated with Jared suffered a traumatic brain injury. Following the brain injury, Jared has suffered from anxiety and depression. It was Jared's mom who decided to track down "Spike" and when she did an amazing thing happened, a beautiful gesture that shed tears for all. Watch this amazing reunion, but don't forget the tissues.
