This New England State School Serves Fresh Sushi In The Dining Hall Every Day
A big fear for first-year college students is that their bellies will miss the comfort of home-cooked meals. At UMASS Amherst, students adjust to the fine food from the dining commons really quickly. According to Boston.com, they have everything from Duck Confit, Zucchini Cakes and YES, they make thousands of fresh sushi rolls daily.
When can I move back into the dorms!? When I graduated from UMASS back in 2010, I thought WE had it made with Grab ‘N Go sandwiches. Now living on campus is comparable to a 5-star resort. Last month, the Princeton Review named their dining service #1 in the country for the second year in a row.
The University is now home to four on campus dining halls, 25 retail locations, and two FOOD TRUCKS! Well, those are new. The moral of the story: I went to college a decade too early.
