This Guy Walked 645 Miles Dressed as a Stormtrooper For The Sweetest Reason

A 57-year-old named Kevin Doyle spent the last month walking 645 miles from San Francisco to San Diego dressed as a Stormtrooper from "Star Wars", and it was for the best cause.

Kevin's wife Eileen passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2012, and hoping the trek would help him deal with her death, he embarked on the journey in her memory.

So why a Stormtrooper? According to Kevin,  Eileen was a "self-proclaimed geek", but if she saw him now, she'd still say, "You're such a dork."

He arrived in San Diego around noon yesterday, and was met by some other stormtroopers from the local "garrison". You can see the photo he posted with them near the ocean on Twitter and Facebook.

And I think we can all agree that dork or not, Kevin's wife would be very proud.
