Max Velez from Manchester, New Hampshire made his parents extremely proud last week.

According to WMUR, his grandma stopped breathing and Max sprang into action. He immediately called 911, put the dog in his crate, answered the door when the first responders arrived and handed them his grandmas inhaler! I don't know if I would be able to respond as quickly and efficiently as 4-year-old Max did.

Max's mom said that they have done a lot of practicing as to what to do in an emergency situation. The practice has paid off big time. Max and his mom have been visiting Grandma in Elliot Hospital where she is being treated for pneumonia.and is expected to make a full recovery.

Though the whole situation was scary, Max really enjoyed riding the fire truck to the hospital. He asked if he could do that again sometime soon.
