ZOMBIE INVASION HALLOWEEN RIDE
5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Harold Brooks’ farm, 12 Harold Lane, Hebron. $18 per person, kids 12 and under $12.
Harold Brooks is the man behind the Redneck [Blank] Pig Roast, and this year he’s using his farm for another fun event: the Zombie Invasion Halloween Ride. You’ll ride around the farm in a five-ton army truck, trying to avoid getting eaten by the zombies that have taken over the 210-acre farm. Say the word “family” when buying tickets and get a discounted rate.

Okay, you'll have to get into the Halloween spirit just a little to partake in the free skiing - it's only free for skiers in costume. But a bit of face paint or a pirate eye patch is worth the chance to ski all day so wonderfully early in the season. And you won't run into any zombies on the mountain. Probably.
