SPRING DANCE CONCERT

Bowdoin's theater and dance departments invite you to their annual spring dance concert featuring faculty-directed choreography for students and choreographic studies that will draw you into their dance-making processes. You'll see dances set to a diverse range of music including Dutch avant-garde rock, the Boston Typewriter Orchestra and a violin concerto by American composer John Adams.

RAGING BRASS REGGAE

Congress Square kicks off the 2016 Friday night event series with a high-energy 7-piece brass ska ensemble. Raging Brass Reggae was formed in 2014 by trumpeter Marc Chillemi and the band pays homage to 60s Jamaican ska, rocksteady and roots reggae instrumentals. If you think you're not going to want to dance...think again!

BROOKS WHEELAN

Chris Isaak will take the stage at the Lebanon Opera House this weekend. The 7th Annual Mother’s Day Weekend Craft Festival takes place this weekend in the scenic Town Common of Hampton Falls. Over 75 Juried craftspeople from all over New England will display and sell their American made works including stained glass, original watercolors, photography, pottery, carved wildlife, folk art, hand crafted soaps, country wood, quilts, doll clothes, fine jewelry, floral design and more.
