These Popular Chain Restaurants Only Have One Location in Maine

Maine has its fair share of chain restaurants. You can find an Applebee's or a Pizza Hut in towns all over the state. However, we came up with list of some popular restaurant chains that have just one location in all of Maine.

Papa Gino's

Papa Gino's is a chain pizzeria that was founded in Boston and has over 150 locations in New England. The only one in Maine can be found at the Auburn Mail and has been there for over 30 years.

Panda Express

Panda Express is a Chinese restaurant typically found in food courts in malls, but has expanded to over 1500 locations in six different countries, many as stand-alone restaurants. You'll find the only one in the state at the Maine Mall.

Popeyes

Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has nothing to do with the sailor man and everything to do with delicious fried chicken. It has over 2000 locations but the only one in Maine is on the northbound side of the turnpike at the Kennebunk service area. That's not even fair. Not only do you have to pay a toll to get there, you need to be just getting back into the state to be on the right side of the highway. Rumor has it though that may change soon as a new location may open in the old Tim Horton's near the Maine Mall.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores can be found in just about every state up and down the east coast. Their 639 locations are typically located near major highways and the only one in Maine is no exception. You'll find it across from the Maine Mall near behind the Double Tree Hotel.

Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

Famous Dave's of America has 200 locations in the country and the only one in Maine opened up shortly after Cabela's did on Payne Road in Scarborough.
