The History & Wild Sites from Laconia Bike Week in NH [INSTAGRAM]

New Hampshire gets taken over every June by motorcycles......LOTS of motorcycles! Laconia Bike Week kicked off this Saturday, and goes through Sunday, June 19th. It began in 1916, and is the oldest National Motorcycle rally in history. A Gypsy Tour started the event, and they gathered for several days at Weirs Beach on the southern shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. They would do this around the same time each year, and the second year, the Federation of American Motorcyclists made it official. After that, events were promoted by Indian and Harley Davidson. To this day, millions make it a tradition.

Fast forward, and the sites of Laconia Bike Week look quite different!
