I was bogged down in two books that I was slowly trudging through.  I needed a fast mover.  Something that I couldn't put down.  I found exactly what I was looking for in The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. Maine author Tess Gerritsen is quoted as saying, "So thrilling and tense and wildly unpredictable, it sucked up my entire afternoon.  Not to be missed!" I totally agree! The girl on the train, Rachel is a wreck. She's an alcoholic, grieving over her destroyed marriage and unemployed.  She still makes the trek on the train everyday as if she were still employed.  She spies a couple from the train and she imagines a perfect life for them.  In reality, their life is far from idyllic. Even with all her issues, I found myself rooting for her. You'll find yourself spell bound to the very last paragraph.
