The Best Place to go with Your Pet Emergency [PHOTOS]

My poor little Chihuahua, Paco. He had his ears back and his tail between his legs. It was 11:30 p.m. on a Sunday night and when I picked him up he whimpered. He is normally energetic and excited to see me. What do I do this late? He's my child I need to fix this. That's when I found the best place to go with a pet emergency. If you have a pet you need  to print this info off and have it handy. 

This is "Maine Veterinary Referral Center" it's an emergency clinic for animals in Scarborugh, Maine and open 24hrs, 7 days a week (207) 885-1290. They were incredibly nice and took me right away. I was in and out in less than an hour (which may be different depending on the emergency or who is there).  I was impressed with how comforting the building is inside. They had complimentary coffee, tea and water with snacks, a tv and a nice fire place. Keep in mind that this is an emergency care center so expect the bill to be a bit higher. Paco's bill came to $130 for the visit but WELL worth it, I would give my left arm to help my little guy.

They are located at 1500 Technology Way, Enterprise Business Park in Scarborough. There's another clinic in Portland called "Animal Emergency Clinic" also open 24 hrs, 7 days a week and located at 739 Warren Ave. (207) 878-3121
