Last night's storm brought around six inches of fluffy, white snow to most of Maine. Early this morning things were just starting to wind down and there was just enough snow that had fallen to transform parts of downtown Portland into perfect winter postcards.
Over 140,000 households lost power across Maine due to wet snow and high winds. Waldo, Lincoln & Knox counties were hardest hit by the November weekend storm. Maine Governor Paul LePage has declared a limited emergency allowing crews to work longer hours to restore power.
