Whenever I make my famous pasta salad I never have to worry about any of it going to waste. And the reason is one secret ingredient that I'm going to finally reveal. But first, let's go step by step on how to make it.

Here's What You'll Need.

Besides the pasta, you'll need ham, cheese, green peppers, a sweet onion, some sliced olives, tomatoes, Italian Dressing, and pickles...but not just any pickle. Read on.

1. Boil Pasta

This first step is obvious, no one wants raw pasta. Boil it but don't rinse it!

2. Add Italian Dressing.

While the pasta is still warm add the Italian dressing. My rule is one bottle of dressing for one box of pasta, 2 bottles for 2 boxes and so on. Use the zesty kind for a slight kick!

3. Chop The Veggies, Ham And Cheese.

This could actually be part of step one, chop the veggies, ham, and cheese while the pasta is boiling to save some time. This is where the secret ingredient is revealed! I use authentic Amato's pickles!

That's right! Let's face it, no other pickle has that tangy sour taste. It will keep your guests coming back for more!

4. Add Everything But The Cheese.

If you add the cheese while the pasta is still warm, the cheese may get soft and even melt a little. Try to avoid that!

The pasta will soak up most of the Italian dressing overnight making your pasta salad irresistible!
