Each year for the past five years Jimmy Kimmel has asked parents to tell their kids they ate all of the Halloween candy and capture the kid's reactions on camera. There's never a shortage of hilarious tantrums and the occasional polite kid who isn't a crying mess when they hear the news. This year a father from South Portland decided to prank his five year old son.

Josh Galyean of South Portland told his son J.J. that he ate all his Halloween candy and proved it by dumping a trick-or-treat bag of empty wrappers out in front of him. Dad pours salt in the wound of the already angry J.J. by offering him an already-been-licked lollipop.

His son was a crying mess but when he realizes it's just a prank, his reaction is hilarious.

Have you ever pranked your kids like this? How did they react?
