Social media is alive with responses and many of them aren't good.

The Portland Press Herald has the story about all the discussion, before the veto was overturned.

"Maine joins Hawaii, California, Oregon and New Jersey in raising the age for purchasing cigarettes and other tobacco products from 18 to 21. Mainers who reach age 18 before July 1 next year will be grandfathered and allowed to purchase tobacco."

The Legislature let stand the veto of the bill that would outlaw using your cell phone while driving. So, talk and drive. No problem.
