A great white shark attacked two kayakers Wednesday while photographing seals off White Horse Beach in Plymouth, Mass., according to WCVB TV in Boston.

The Boston television news station reported the women were knocked from their two kayaks by the estimated 16 foot shark.  They had to swim towards shore and were rescued by the Plymouth harbormaster.

WCVB reported the harbormaster was unable to locate the shark, but a kayak shows teeth marks that indicate a shark bite. The two women have no injuries. Sharks feed on seals and it is recommended to be aware of possible sharks near large gatherings of seals.

Update: Plymouth Beaches have been closed because of the attack. One of the young woman was wearing a Go Pro, but it was lost in the water.
