Careful...that ice might not be as safe as you think!

The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife have issued a warning to folks who have ice shacks or bob house on frozen bodies of water.

In a recent Facebook post, they shared photos of two of them on Kennebunk Pond in Lyman that are in need of immediate removal.

"Ice shacks in Maine are to be removed before ice out or 3 days after the close of ice fishing season. Those who fail to remove their ice shacks are subject to significant fines and littering charges."
