Saco Drive-In Needs Our Votes!

When I think of a drive-in movie theater it brings back great family memories. You had to position the car perfectly on the little mound of sand, hook the speaker on the rolled down driver's side window and make the trek to snack shack.

The first drive-in opened in New Jersey in 1933 and in the 1950's there were more than 4,000 drive-in theaters in the country. Today, there are fewer than 400 and USA Today has narrowed the best drive-in theaters to twenty and are asking for your votes to pick the Best Drive-In Movie Theater! The Saco Drive-In is one of the finalists!

The Saco Drive-In Theater was in 15th place at the time I write this post.
