Portland Artist Creates Cat Comic Art [PHOTOS]

My cat is a comic book super hero!

My husband has been collecting comic books for years (Yes, I knew about his obsession before we were married). So anyway, he haunts the local comic book stores.  A local Portland artist Melanie Tingdahl had created an "Open Sign" for Casablanca Comics that my husband loved. He thought, "Hey, that's really cool! And I have a cat." He asked Melanie to create a portrait of our kitty, Lily Butters. She agreed.  Chad sent Melanie a few photos. She delivered an awesome drawing of our Lily on our front porch, flowers included.That's one piece of art that my husband and I can agree on.  We'll be framing Lily Super Cat and putting it on the wall.  Even Lily was impressed!
