This past Friday Mike and I took the morning show on the road and traveled up to Bethel, Maine for the Moose Festival, and lottery. Over 47,000 people submitted applications to obtain a moose hunting permit, but only 2,000 names were drawn.

We started the morning off with a few fun moose calls from Ron Fournier of Bryant Pond 4H Camp. Ron also did a great job coaching the kids from the Crescent Park Elementary School who stopped by to share their own moose calls with us! We were visited by Jaime from White Mountain Cupcakery, the folks from 22 Broad Street and local sportsman Neil Olson.

Darcy Lambert from Gould Academy stopped by to share some information with us about their amazing summer camps, and Emily MacCabe from the Maine Division of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife chatted with us about the Moose lottery. She also humored our questions about what life is like being married to "the hot guy" from North Woods Law.

And last but certainly not least, a huge thank you to Robin Zinchuk from the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce for helping to organize this fun festival.

We had a great time on location and we hope you enjoy the pictures we snapped. And who knows, maybe we'll be visiting your town  next!
