I go absolutely loco for Mexican food; enchiladas, tacos, burritos. Any of the above, I LOVE it all. And nothing beats washing all this mexican yumminess down with a margarita on the rocks with salt. According to Maine Today, Pedro's is the home to the world's best margarita. Well I'll be the judge of that!  As I am glancing over the menu I am intrigued by the funky flavors of margaritas they have. Grapefruit, strawberry tangerine and prickly pear are just a few of their offerings.

Anyways moving on to these heavenly bowls. Rumor has it they are a gift from the taco gods. They come with greens (so you feel healthy about it), salsa, rice, avocado, queso fresco and chipoltle crema. Then you choose your protein and the choices are steak, chicken, braised pork, petit filet, mahi, salmon, lobster or just plain old veggie. I love that there are so many options to make this mexican dish a little seafood-esque. Especially when you know how fresh the seafood will be, being right by the atlantic and all.

Why do I put myself through this torture? Now I won't be able to stop thinking about a taco bowl until I drive my tush over to Pedro's and put one in my belly. Well I guess I know what i'm doing for dinner tonight. ;)
