When you think of Coffee Cities in the USA, what city comes to mind first?  For me it is Seattle, home of Starbucks.  Well, Seattle, it looks like little ole Portland, Maine, Manchester, New Hampshire and Burlington, Vermont are the caffeinated cats on the block now.

The May 2014 issue of Men's Health magazine has ranked Portland, Maine as the #1 Coffee Crazed City in the United States.  Manchester, New Hampshire comes in at #2 and Burlington, Vermont at #3 make it a perfect trifecta for northern New England. Here's the run down of top ten cities for coffee consumption:

While talking about coffee in Portland, Maine, I would be remiss in not mentioning that the founders of Coffee By Design in Portland were named Maine’s Small Business Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Founders, Mary Allen Lindemann and Alan Spear will be invited to Washington to vie for a national award in mid-May.
