Maine Woman Almost Eats A Lizard In A Salad She Bought

Sure, I will have a salad for lunch... with a side of dead lizard?!

According to a report by WMUR Channel 9, Michelle Carr of Kittery bought a batch of romaine lettuce at a grocery store in Portsmouth. Last week, she decided to make a salad for lunch, but she almost ended up eating a dead lizard that was tucked away in the leaves of lettuce. Michelle went to enjoy the salad, and noticed her fork hit something hard. She pulled it out to find a dead blue-bellied lizard that somehow ended up catching a ride from California to her lunch plate. Poor little guy... He thought he was getting a snack, not becoming one!

Let's just say this is not the kind of protein you want to add to your light lunch! YUCK!
