NH Home Explodes Live on TV – Police Officer Killed [VIDEO]
A New Hampshire police officer was shot to death after he responded to a domestic disturbance at a home that later exploded and burned Monday, according to WCVB. Authorities believe the gunman died in the fire.
The Boston television news station reported that 48-year-old Stephen Arkell from Brentwood was shot to death when he answered the call in a neighborhood for people 55 and older. After the shooting, the house burst into flames. A massive explosion blew the front off the house and within an hour, it was leveled.
WCVB also reported that New Hampshire Attorney General Joseph Foster said that Michael Nolan, 47, the homeowner's son, was the suspected gunman and presumed dead in the fire.
