Last night's CMA Awards opened with Miranda Lambert and Meghan Trainor performing the latter's Billboard Hot 100 chart topper "All About That Bass."

LOVE THESE TWO!

Also love the song. It's got that kinda doo whop thingy going.

Wearing a couple of '50s-styled skirts, Lambert and Trainor duetted on a countrified version of "All About That Bass." Well, it wasn't the most country-ish reimagining, but it added just enough fiddle and guitar twang to make it CMA Award appropriate. It seemed to go over well with one audience member, at least: Lambert's husband Blake Shelton was grinning ear to ear.
