Metrocast Sold To Atlantic Broadband

Many New Hampshire cable customers will notice a change starting in January.

Metrocast has announced that it is being sold to Canadian communications company Atlantic Broadband for $1.4 billion dollars.

The sale should be finalized by January 2018.

According to WMUR, Metrocast provides cable television, phone service, and internet to nearly 236,000 customers in New Hampshire, Maine, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.
