A couple of popular restaurant chains have closed several locations across Northern New England. According to WMUR, Papa Gino's and D'Angelo, both owned by the same parent company, abruptly closed the doors at locations in Portsmouth, Manchester, and Nashua over the weekend. An employee at a store in Mansfield, Massachusetts showed up to work to find a sign on the door saying it was closed. She was told to reapply at other locations. The restaurants have not announced which or how many locations it has closed, and is telling people to go to the store locators on their websites for more information.

I haven't really been to Papa Gino's a lot, but D'Angelo is definitely my favorite spot to get a steak and cheese sub. I've been to many different D'Angelo locations in Maine and New Hampshire. Hopefully this is just a few stores, and doesn't mean that the end is near for the companies!
