‘Making Strides Greater Portland’ A Huge Success

The American Cancer Society held it's annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer fundraiser over the weekend, at Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth.

I was fortunate enough to be invited back to emcee for a second year in a row. I'm so glad that they did, because I love this event.

My co-emcee was Kathleen Jordan from WMTW. We had a blast making announcements from the stage, and getting people pumped up for the walk. We also helped with the big countdown to begin the walk, and welcomed participants back.

When all was said and done, the event raised over $146,000 for breast cancer research.
