It's about time this happened. A new law was passed that will allow veterans who are residents free admission to the Maine State Museum, according to our new partner, WMTW. Mainers who are over the age of 65 already get into state parks free of charge.

Veterans who are interested must fill out an application with the Maine Bureau of Veterans' Services. The department processes those applications in about two to three weeks, as per WMTW.
