Maine Native Makes Broadway Debut!

Sara Esty, a Gorham High School graduate is making her Broadway debut this Sunday in the opening of “American in Paris”. The musical is based on the 1951 movie starring Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron, and after touring the show in France this past fall Esty is now making the move to Broadway.

Esty and her twin sister Leah grew up dancing with the Maine State Ballet and then spent 10 years with the Miami City Ballet. While her transition to musical theater was something of a leap of faith,  she says it was a “dream come true.”
