Maine Audubon has been robbed of a snowshoe hare, pond turtle and red fox pelt. Who would be the big bad wolf and steal these items from the Audubon's education collection? The Maine Audubon posted on it's  Facebook page, "Two of our educational mounts, a Snowshoe Hare and Pond Slider Turtle were stolen in Portland this past weekend. The Snowshoe Hare is pictured here - if you have seen them or have any information, please get in touch. These mounts are historic and invaluable!" Keep your eyes open for these items and hopefully, they will be returned.
