Let’s Celebrate National ‘Hug Your Cat Day!’

June 4th is "National Hug Your Cat Day." I've had two cats in my life, even though I am not really a "cat person" -- one in college and the other when I was in my early 20s. Don't get me wrong. I love cats… I just can't deal with the smell of cat litter.

I wish I had some pictures to share of my cats. Unfortunately, my photos from that time in my life have disappeared. This picture is from about ten years ago when I worked for CBS in Tampa Bay. We had weekly canine and feline visitors from the local SPCA, and I did my best to find them a home by putting their pictures on my social media pages.

It looks like I am choking this poor kitty, but I'm just loving on him (or her).
