Last week I ventured up to Bar Harbor, ME (or Bah Ha Bah as they say) for vacation with my boyfriend Steven and his awesome fam. I had a wonderful time eating and drinking to my hearts content and also becoming one with nature.

We hiked Cadillac Mountain and climbed the West Face Trail up and MAN was it steep! My glutes are still feeling it. We sat and enjoyed the gorgeous view from the summit and of course took tons of photos.

We enjoyed a massive lobster feast at Abel's Lobster Pound. Shoutout to our waitress Thea who put up with all of our shenanigans and was as sweet as the blueberry pie that we had for desert. I also got to hold a four and a half pound lobster. I named him Sherman.

We did a kayak trip where we rowed all around the small islands in Bar Harbor. Here I am taking a quick snooze while Steven does some of the heavy lifting.

We had breakfast at 2 Cats where I had Elvis pancakes. That's right folks, chocolate, peanut butter and banana IN MY pancakes. These pancakes changed my outlook on life and made me the woman I am today. Okay, that's a bit of stretch but they were so flipping good!

We walked around the little shops on Main St. and I bought a Bar Harbor raincoat, hoodie, coffee mug and some other goodies for friends and family.

If you are looking for a fun, outdoorsy getaway this Summer I highly recommend you visit Bar Harbor. There is no shortage of things to do or eat. Plus you really can't beat the scenery.
