Join The Celebration At The Greater Portland Festival Of Nations, July 29th

Celebrate the diversity in Maine at the Greater Portland Festival of Nations on Saturday July 29th at Deering Oaks Park. Admission is free for a day of music, food and family oriented cultural events from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Learn about the many ethnic traditions being observed here in Maine. Michael O. is a singer from Portland who competed with his Dartmouth College accapella group on "The Sing Off", and had an acting/singing gig in the movie "Pitch Perfect 2". He will be performing at the festival and sharing his story of interacting with students from other parts of the world while he was a student at Waynflete School, where he began The Mugadi Foundation. Music, crafts and cuisine will be celebrated from countries such as: Mexico, Thailand, Cameroon, Peru, Sweden, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Ireland, Congo and many more.
