Incredible footage of the Aurora Borealis AKA Northern Lights over New Zealand from the International Space Station.

Just like Meghan Trainor is all about that bass. I've been all about the Northern Lights for a while now.

This time-lapse video was taken by ESA astronaut Alexander Gerst as he flew over New Zealand on the International Space Station at around 400 km altitude. The nighttime video shows an aurora that occurs when Earth’s atmosphere interacts with solar radiation.

This stuff is just amazing!!!
