Fryeburg Fair Kicks Off Sunday in Fryeburg, Maine

The granddaddy of fall fairs kicks off this Sunday.  People travel from around the country to attend this blue ribbon classic fair. The Fryeburg Fair has everything that you're looking for in a country fair.

Farm animals, tons of food, rides, night shows, competitions, exhibits and vendors with fair deals are all to be found at the fair. Some event highlights include Woodsmen Day, the skillet throw, pig scramble, whoopie pie contest, sheep dog trials and flower shows. Many camp at the fairgrounds to enjoy easy access to the fair. The fair runs from Sunday, September 28 to Sunday, October 5 at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds in Fryeburg, Maine. Admission is $10. 94.9 HOM will be broadcasting live from 11 to 1 PM on Sunday, Sept. 28.  We'll be by the Water Wheel at the main gate. Please stop by!
