Farmers Almanac Visits HOM

This morning we had the pleasure of chatting with the Editor from The Farmers Almanac (which in case you were confused like me is NOT the same as 'The Old Farmers Almanac')

Peter share with us some great tips from the almanac on fruits and veggies and unfortunately shared with us that this winter is going to be particularly terrible. The publication is one of the oldest still in circulation having launched in 1818, so it was a treat to hear all about it!

One of the best things is how local The Farmers Almanac is! It's published out of Lewiston Maine and is really a tremendous resource. I learned it's not just about the weather, there are gardening tips, recipes and healthy living tips.
