Every once in a while I come across a story that reminds me of the goodness in each of us. This morning the Bangor Daily News shared a story that really touched my heart.

Terry Lee, a 71-year-old terminally ill patient of Dr. Elizabeth Mann with no family, shared her dying wish with her doctor. Terry, an avid horseback rider in her younger years, longed to see a horse one last time. So Dr. Mann, with the support of the hospital, set out to make that happen for her.

Mann contacted Gentle Carousel Miniature Therapy Horses. They were able to bring in "Magic" the horse and fulfill Terry's dying wish. You can see the video here, but I recommend grabbing some tissues.

Lee Passed away on Saturday, but thanks to her doctor and the kind folks at Gentle Carousel, she got to see a horse one more time.
