There's a boil water order in effect for the entire area of Munjoy Hill northeast of Sheridan Street in Portland, Maine, after a sizable water main break on Preble Street. As a result, some residents and businesses don't have any water or if they do, the water pressure is low. The Portland Water District says Preble will be closed until further notice. That will definitely affect Friday's commute.

A boil water order means you should heat the water until it comes to a rolling boil for at least a minute before you use it to brush your teeth or wash dishes. And, don't drink the water without boiling it first.
