A judge has upheld the decision to put down Dakota the Alaskan Husky, despite the fact that the owner says the dog has been rehabilitated.

Earlier this week, Governor Paul LePage decided to issue a pardon to Dakota the Alaskan Husky, who last year got loose and killed a neighbor's pug.

But according to WMTW, a judge has upheld the decision that the dog be put down.

A new family adopted the dog not knowing that he had been ordered to be euthanized. Now that family is asking that the dog be given a second chance.
